I can’t believe that guy would push on the end with only one pair. There’s a possible straight out there and Ivey could easily have a set, J-10, Q-J, or even Q-10. Put in a small bet that looks like a value bet and see what happens. If Ivey comes over the top, you can get away from it. Terrible amateur play pushing like that. He’s only getting called by a better hand. So dumb.
Well, maybe not Q-10 unless he was floating on the flop and got lucky with runner runner. Still, the other guy deserved to go home for that awful play.

This is a very, interesting hand. If you have played a TON of live poker like Mr. Ivey has, the guys body language PREFLOP is a MASSIVE tell. wtf is he dwindling about then flat calling? HM I WONDER. It was evident “oh im gonna trap him with aces and just pwn him postflop”. Then he checks the flop. Betting the set here is key, PRAYING your opp got a piece of it (in this case, the highest overpair). WHen he check raises, Ivey has the scrub where he wants (and basically puts him on a monster)
the all in on the river is kind of wreckless. The queen completes a couple gut shots and many two pairs. Jq j10 what is he hoping phil is going to call him with? JK? AJ? lol
